The final conference of the BOLSTER project will be held in Pula, Croatia, on May 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Designed especially for the consortium and invited guests who have been working on and contributing to the project over the past three years, the event is expected to be a significant moment for discussing final strategies for the remaining time, reflecting on the outcomes achieved, and planning next steps: How can we sustain the project’s impact? How can we continue collaborating? How do we face the changing dynamics in Europe and around the world and keep fighting for a just transition?
The agenda, which is available below, offers a variety of sessions, including practical and collaborative moments. All consortium members will play an active role and will have the opportunity to present their work. The conference will also feature two keynote speakers:
- Dr. J. (Joyeeta) Gupta will address Climate Injustices and Potential Justice Options, offering valuable insights on the intersection of climate change and social justice.
- Ivica Mitrović, Associate Professor at the Arts Academy University of Split, will present his Mediterranean Speculative Approach—a speculative design methodology that examines the future implications of major global changes (technological, economic, political, and environmental) in the local context.
The event will take place at the Park Plaza Histria.
