The Horizon Europe BOLSTER project held its first conference entitled “Ensuring Justice in Climate Transition – Leaving no one behind in the EU?” in Porto, Portugal on 22-25 January.

The conference included a consortium meeting, many workshops, academic and practitioner sessions and presentations by two keynote speakers, namely Stefan Bouzarovski on “Politics and Just Transition” and Adrian-Nicolae Furtuna on “Roma minority in Romania – from slavery to civic engagement”.

It was also an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships between partners and to establish new relationships with all participants and guests from outside the project, in particular practitioners, civil society organisations, policy makers and local and regional authorities.
