Join us for an engaging online policy dialogue as part of the BOLSTER project. This final Just Transition Helix Community and 10th Regional Policy Dialogue event is jointly organised by Crowdhelix and ECAS – European Citizen Action Service.
It brings together international experts and case studies from Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, and Ukraine to explore how citizen engagement tools – like participatory mapping, digital town halls, and regional dialogues – can drive more inclusive and just sustainability transitions, particularly in low-resource and high-vulnerability settings.
Key Highlights include:
• Insights into citizen participation strategies in the EU and Global South, with practical examples of community-led climate action.
• A toolkit of scalable engagement methods to ensure marginalised voices shape transition policies.
• Comparative lessons on evaluating the social impacts of climate adaptation measures through co-designed approaches with local governments.
• An understanding of how global frameworks like the European Green Deal can be locally adapted to reduce intersecting vulnerabilities (e.g., gender, income, ethnicity).
This interactive workshop includes live polling, open Q&A, and opportunities for cross-regional learning – ideal for policymakers, civil society actors, researchers, and anyone committed to climate justice.
